Service rating : I wanted to send some nice flowers to my sister - something nice, a bit different, and no lilies (she has a cat - and lilies are toxic to cats, especially the pollen). I’ve used Serenata before, so I knew the service would be efficient and the flowers would be up to scratch. I had a quick look through their website - the filters make it easy to find the flowers you want to send for the price you want to pay. I picked some really funky blue orchids (Blue Dendrobium). Selecting and paying is easy with no hidden charges (and next day delivery is included in the price of the flowers).

Once I’d placed the order, I received sufficient emails to update me on its progress. A couple of hours after they’d been delivered, my sister sent me an email to say thanks with a photo of the flowers she’d received - they looked really great, as good or better than the website photo.

I’ve used one or two other internet flower sellers in the past, and there are some really bad ones out there who don’t know their iris from their elbow!
Serenata are in a different league - they’re really good.

Service rating : This was the second time I used Serenata but on this occasion I left delivery instructions that if recipient not home to leave with a neighbour. I have to say it was pretty pointless leaving delivery instructions, as the box was left in the front garden. Being a very windy day, the box was found blowing around the garden, thankfully the very fragile orchids inside were undamaged. But not impressive considering I gave very specific instructions.

His flowers were sent to the same address i sent mine, but for a seperate occasion, - the delivery was left outside the house even after giving strict instructions not to, - its a house for elderly, so requires a little more patience than normal for someone to answer door entry phone.

I had to call them up a few days later to check if they had received it.....(as I never got a thank you or acknowledgement from them which was strange hence making me wonder if they ever received them, even though Serenata sent me an email to say they were delivered!)

Product : The orchids were a gift for my mother. The video showed each individual stem being placed in its own plastic vial, before the boquet was wrapped. My mother said that they were not in individual plastic vials and the stems were very short. The flowere themselves were beautiful & luckily my mother had a suitable vase for the short stems.

I ordered an orchid to be sent to my mother for Mother’s Day. Although I did receive delivery confirmation from Serenata, nothing was delivered to her residence or the houses next door. They denied there was a problem with delivery and ignored my other emails asking for them to look into it. 5 days later I wrote them a further email asking for an explanation and they offered a pathetic "We’re sorry" and a refund.
Product : The flowers were never delivered, so I couldn’t say what they looked like.

Product : They were a mother’s day gift so I have not seen them, but my mother said they arrived in a huge box with lots of space for the owers to rattle around. Also there were no instructions for the care of these flowers. When the website was checked it was unclear as to which category they were under. Orchids covered the ones in pots, but not the cut ones. Nor was the handtied bouquets category helpful

Service rating : Not delivered on day of request (which was at least 2 days after ordering and parents waited in all day - theses flowers were then delivered the next day and left on front doorstep - not only not good for cut flowers in this cold especially orchids but advertising to one and all that no-one was home!) system was pretty good in replying at first but when i wrote about flowers being left on doorstep not one reply!! So very poor also for some reason addresses me with a name that bore no resemblance to mine and was not even the right gender. Really not sure if I will use Serenata again but will try another firm out in the future.

I do not want it to became a habit but the new flowers delivered last Monday are looking half - dead already.

The disappointment was that I have chose the "premium" level and though plentiful equates to a big and "pomp" bouquet befit for an opening night of a performance. I was proved wrong.

The receiver advised that the bouquet which she received twice (once in Scotland and latter in London) were badly done as compared to her others bouquets she had received for her opening nights, Her advised was to seriously stopped using Seranata. Orchids is a favourite flower in Singapore and to hear the way it was arranged, makes me mad. Every opening night of a performer is beautiful when it ended receiving a lovely spread of bouquets.....

In this cold weather it could have been disasterous for the orchid but fortunately when they were seeing guests out at 10pm they saw it. Why do they do this when people are at home, This is now the second time this has happened, an arrangement I sent at Christmas to someone in Worthing got the same treatment and was out all night in the pouring rain.

However when placing my Xmas order I wanted delivery to 3 different people at different addresses - which meant that I had to go through the whole procedure 3 times rather than place the order in one go - this was time consuming and annoying. Exasperated I abandoned the 3rd order wanting to discuss it - there is no telephone contact. Despite emailing me alerting me that the order is unfinished there was no verbal contact - you dispatched it regardless minus any message card attached to the delivery. I reckon that you web site needs to be sharpened-up offering a 2-way service.
