The family appreciated the sympathy card.
From your information e-mails before the flowers were delivered...I was doubting if they were, "with sympathy", as the comments all seemed a bit "light and jazzy".
However I did receive thanks from recipient saying flowers and card were lovely.
Pity there is only one sympathy card to choose from.
Iíve used Serenata flowers once before and they were brilliant. However, on this occasion, I wasnít impressed at all. The driver wasnít able to access the recipientís property which is fair enough. I then asked to have them redelivered the next day which I was ensured they would be. However, once two days had passed and I had had no contact from Serenata, I had to contact them myself and ask about the flowers only to be told the company opted not to redeliver and to refund instead. It would have been nice to have been told about the refund as soon as possible, rather than waiting for me to contact them - especially as I could have made different arrangements for these sympathy flowers in that time.
I did not want one of your sympathy cards and couldnít stop or delete it on your website as I had already made the payment. I felt that I hadnít been given the choice to decide not to pay £2.99 for a card that wasnít my idea of a beautiful card.

we were very disappointed to not have the flowers delivered on the due date. they were sympathy flowers for a berevement and reached the delivery depo 6.33am on the delivery day, but were delivered the next day. With no communication by serenata even though they had our telephone number. We did receive a full refund.
As said before, cheerful emails from Seranata, not in keeping with choice of íSympathyí flowers.

My only concern would be the bulk email confirmation that was sent out after the flowers had been delivered, I think that had I been sensitive over the passing of my Uncle then I would have been upset at the wording of the email. Maybe if someone orders the "sympathy" flowers then they should receive a different delivery confirmation email.

Service rating : Ordered sympathy flowers for a friend and presumed they had been delivered. It was almost a week later, and after the funeral, that I discovered she hadnít received anything so had to get in touch with serenata to arrange late delivery. Very embarrassing and disappointing.

Service rating : I can only comment on the ease of placing my order, the wide range of flowers available, seemingly good value for money and how efficient the service seemed to be in terms of notifying me when the flowers left the building and when they were actually delivered. Unfortunately, my recipient wasnít in when they tried to deliver so I just hope she received them and that they were ok by the time she got home (but obviously this is no fault of Serenata flowers)...

Service rating : Ordered two sympathy arrangements to send to Family in UK. Had an issue with wilting, droopy roses on both arrangements. My mother-in-law and Aunt had to send photoís of their arrangements to Serenata customer service. This was done on 06/5/13, we still have not had a reply. My Mum-in-law and family are dealing with death and grieving and still have to be sending photoís to sort out wilting flowers. Not good.

They re-ordered and only when I chased again they were not delivered. These flowers were for ísympathyí reasons. Order was for Sympathy flowers for my brotherís family. Delivery was requested for day before funeral (Thursday 18/4). Delivery was during the funeral the following day to their house, where of course no one was home. And one day too late.

Service rating : Good variety of flowers and prices and nice to see something different from the generic pictures on many other sites. Had a problem with selecting a card. Mine were sympathy flowers so clicked on Sympathy, but did not like the cards and wanted to go back to the default. This proved impossible without aborting the order. There should be the option to change the card when reviewing the order.

Service rating : I have used your service twice during the last week. Both recipients were overjoyed with their flowers. They were delivered exactly when and how I wished. However, there was some confusion over one of the addresses resulting in my having to put my bank details in twice. Now I am worried if I shall be charged twice for the same delivery or my sister ending up with two bunches on different days.. You have notified me of their despatch several times on different days. I have contacted your Help line but not received a reply.
Product : I chose two different bunches of flowers, both were in sympathy ,one for the death of a friendís mother the other regarding the death of two of my sisterís pets, a cat and dog. My sister was in absolute rapture over her spring bunch. She described it in detail to me and it sounded beautiful. Very minimal choice if sending 2 eg sympathy on one card to choose from. Doesnít look good if same card arrives to grieving family even though flowers are very different.
I was charged £2.99 for a very cheap sympathy card that was stuck with lots of Sellotape onto a plastic stick that was at least 10 inches taller that the so called flowers.

I collected in the money from everyone and said I would do it from the internet at home as didnít have the time to check out flowers shops etc but the courier didnít deliver, to be fair Mark was out staying at his dad which we didnít know but they werenít left with a neighbour or anything and it was another two days before I found out he hadnít received them and they were supposed to be redelivered but it was another 2 days before they attempted again, still werenít delivered and got an email asking if I wanted refund. This would have been highly embarrassing having to explain to my colleagues, then Mark came back work even more embarrassing after I had said to re-deliver, they finally got delivered - two lots of them, one rather done the original bunch which was fine but at the end of the day it was far too late for such an occasion and may have upset him all over again after he had returned to work so Iím afraid I wonít be using this them again and also they didnít even phone me, its a nightmare if there is a big problem they should phone you on those occasions, I donít want to have to wait an hour or hours for a reply only to get half a reply etc, NEVER AGAIN

A bit disappointed as the recipient did not know who the flowers were sent by. As it was sent from Melbourne, Australia I included a message of sympathy!

I sent flowers to my Aunt as sympathy for the bereavement of her husband. The flowers arrived as requested and although I didnít see them personally because I am in Canada relatives informed me that they were very nice.
I believe Serenata Flowers were let down by their courier in Bath. Sympathy flowers were left at the gate of my colleague and they were not discovered utnil the following day, battered by the rain and wind and being eaten by slugs I know that my friend has always been pleased with them and that was why I used them. I have to say, however, Serenata have agreed to return my payment.

In general, I think the service was good, my friend received the flowers and was relatively happy with the bouquet and the the rest, truffles, teddy bear etc... However, I had a terrible time placing my order on your web site. I even tried calling the USA toll free number but did not work for me as I was calling from CANADA. Anyway, eventually I was able to place the order BUT I had no choices for a vase, nor sympathy cards. So I accepted what ever was offered to me. I would have liked some choices OR perhaps you have other choices but I was not able to activate them. I will try Serenata flowers again on a different occasion.
I found assistant very helpful when placing my order by telephone , however was not satisfied when I discovered flowers had arrived minus card to say message or who had sent them, Also not impressed by 10 per cent apology.

Service rating : I thought the tracking information was great in principle - however the messages should be tailored to the types of flowers purchased e.g., i bought sympathy flowers and was receiving very upbeat, cheery messages about how my flowers were on their way etc, etc - this was not the right tone for the flowers I had purchased.

When I ordered the flowers I clearly stated that they were for my brother-inlaws funeral and asked for them to be delivered mid-day as the funeral was at 3.30pm. The flowers were to be sent to the funeral parlour. I got a delivery report to say the flowers were delivered at 4p.m. They had missed the funeral! I also got email asking if the late Colin Kissick-Jones had liked the flowers - I found this comment distressing as I had put a message to be written on a sympathy card.
While the service and efficiency were good, I was alarmed to recieve a "JOLLY" email saying that my flowers were about to be delivered, when I had specified that they were sent as a "SYMPATHY" gift. I was able to speak to the office and the rep. was very appologetic but I think care should be taken when sending out a set email message.

She complained to the company who sent her a replacement bouquet but I am still disappointed with the quality of the flowers. When you are sending flowers to someone else, especially in sympathy, you donít expect them to arrive in poor health and the person you have sent them to to feel they have to complain on behalf of the person who purchased them!
Service rating : The flowers never got to the recipient - they were left at some entrance door but no note or anything was left at the recipientís house to let them know where the flowers were. It took me forever to find a phone number on the website to call to find out what was going on. I did send an email which was never responded to. Once I did call the customer service people where always very helpful but could not do anything until they heard from the couriers which after a full 24 hours still did not hear back. And I heard no response, so I had to call back, still no response from the couriers. Finally a manager refunded my purchase which was good but the recipient still never got the sympathy flowers that I was sending - so all in all a bad experience. I did raise it to a poor rating as at least the manager had the decency to reimburse me.

Thinking about the cards on the website, it would be good to have a suitable design for a sympathy card eg something in pale purple/white with a message like íThinking of Youí.
First, the products were delivered 4 days late. Second, my message was not included so the recipient did not know I sent the items! Third, instead of a free "sympathy" card, it had a "good job" card. Mistakes happen... and Serenata apologised but never offered to remove the delivery fee they charged me.

As far as I know, I was pleased with the service I had online. I donít expect the recipients to respond as the plant was sent just to express my sympathy in a very serious illness, so I donít know anything about its receipt.
Service rating : Loved the range of flowers and cards available but was difficult to rectify a query with the post code as booking from NZ. Info was hard to find online and the first three staff spoke to would not offer assistance in finding the right post code. They wanted me to find it and return the call with the correct code (these being international phone calls). The last customer rep immediately looked it up from the UK and was able to provide the correct information as the one I had found was incorrect. The flowers were for sympathy for a family member and so this process delayed the time when they received them.

However, I clicked on the different sympathy cards to look at them, before deciding to select the generic free one. I think I then clicked "next", so the page asked me to enter more information. I did this, but I believe it was at this point that the page also selected a "Get Well Soon" card. This was not what I wanted, especially as I was sending the flowers to my auntie, after my uncle had passed away.
I was not aware that the "Get Well Soon" card had been selected, and it wasnít until I reviewed my completed order, that I realised.
This was possibly the worse card it could have picked, as "Get Well Soon" could be seen as a bit of an insult for someone grieving! I tried to email for a correction, but the site log-in did not work. I tried to email, but no reply. Finally, I called the number, which was answered quickly to my surprise (thank you for this). I asked for the order to be changed to a Sympathy card, as I thought this would be easier than the blank (free) card. The man on the phone was a bit hesitant to help, saying that he wasnít sure that he could change the order now. I asked him to find out, as he said it was in "process" or "packing" (I canít remember to terminology he used), so he then said he would ensure it was changed, otherwise he would call me back. I didnít hear anything back from him, so thought that a "Sympathy" card would accompany the flowers.
It wasnít until later in the week, that I found out that the "Get Well Soon" card had arrived, much to my embaressment and dismay.

Service rating : We bought flowers that were supposed to arrive the following day, in sympathy for a death. We didnít hear anything from the people we sent the flowers to for a few days, but since it was a troubling time, we werenít that surprised, and it wouldíve been a bit awkward to ask if theyíd gotten them. Eventually it came up, a week later, that they had not. We called Serenata, who was indifferent to our complaint, and blamed it on the post. They offered no apology or discount, but just said theyíd send it again tomorrow. So we ended up looking like jerks for taking nine days to get around to sending flowers, and Serenata didnít even have the grace to apologize. We will never, EVER use this company again, I have never had such poor service in my life.

Having stated on the order (which was for flowers listed under the ífuneralí or íwith sympathyí category) that it was for funeral flowers that needed ot be delivered before the funeral took place, the flowered we delivered after the funeral procession left the house, and afterwards I received an email telling me that the deceased had been very pleased to receive the flowers. this lack of attention is disgraceful and regardless of how good / bad the flowers were, I will not only not used Serenata again myself but warn others about their lack of care and insensetive meployment of automated services.
I have used serenata flowers for many years, however not so long ago flowers I had ordered as sympathy flowers were not delivered and I ended up calling the customer services many times before they established that the flowers had not been delivered. This is not something I would have expected - I should have had a call at the first attempted delivery to say they could not find the address.

Service rating : I asked for delivery to be made on Friday 11 November. I was advised on Friday afternoon that the flowers had been damaged and so would not be delivered and that I would be emailed or texted with new delivery details. I have not yet heard anything from Seranata.
