I sent a complaint about the delivery of these flowers already but have not received a reply so I will repeat it here. I had asked for the delivery man to be patient waiting for the door to be answered as my mother has recently had knee replacement surgery and cannot move quickly. However, by the time she had got off the stair lift and opened the door he was getting in the van and left the flowers on the step! He waved/pointed to the flowers and drove off and she had to bend to pick them up herself. She is 80 years old. Common courtesy should have told him he needed to help her out but as I had already left the message asking for patience to be taken I feel extra care should have been taken. The flowers themselves were lovely according to my mother but I feel the service could and should have been better. Thank you.

Thank you for your good communication through out my order. It was a pity the flowers didn’t match up to the same standard. Initially they looked fine, however by the next day after being placed straight away into some water with some food the flowers were already showing signs of wilting. By day three they were looking positively sad, they were thrown out on day 4!!! I am not very happy with the standard of product you have sent me. I am not looking for any money back or freebees, just though I should let you know that I am an unhappy customer and will not be ordering from you again. Please delete my name and email address from your mailing list. If this is the standard of flowers you now supply then I doubt very much you will remain in business very long anyway. There are plenty of similar companies who will supply a top product, time to try someone else, your loss!!!

Service rating : Unfortunately Serenata has dipped in performance over the past year. they have no direct phone number for customers to call and complaints and questions are dealt with in an automated way so no one person deals with your issue and it appears they do not track previous issues. I had a set of flowers fail to be delivered 3 times... Ruining a proposed event thank you. Serenata would offer a new bouquet on the day but then would not confirm or respod to my questiosn about what time it would arrive and simply reordered the item. Then they sent me a link to a bunch of other customer complaint responces. It was all very poor in terms of customer service and allthough Serenata have been excellent in the past when they get it wrong it goes really wrong and now there is now means to sort it out properly. I will not be using them again and will fidn someone more reliable. They nearly messed up an engagement proposal and a thank you for my wedding. not good enough

I ordered from New York to ship to London, and used Serenata based on a Which review. I first ordered next day delivery which the system garbled, so I called the 24 hour number--on Easter Sunday--and was gently reminded the next day was a bank holiday. The woman instantly refunded my delivery charge,and set up for free delivery for the Tuesday. I considered making the order Deluxe but we couldn’t easily do that. Since it wasn’t deluxe, I was surprised to hear my friend talk about how large and abundant the bouquet was. She emailed me:


“My lovely beautiful flowers just arrived!!! Gorgeous lilies roses and carnations and ALL PINK!!!! So beautiful :-D thank you so much!!!! So so special and so so pretty!!“

She also told me on the phone how beautifully perfumed they are, and how many of them there were.


35 GBP for flowers is of course a lot of money, but especially as I am in New York, and my friend in London was so happy with the flowers, it was actually an excellent value.

UPDATE One week later, she emailed me:
My flowers are BEAUTIFUL!!!! The lilies have gone now :-( but the roses and carnations and other pretty pink flowers are still going strong! The roses are HUGE!!!!!! I have filled FOUR VASES!!!

I ordered from New York to ship to London, and used Serenata based on a Which review. I first ordered next day delivery which the system garbled, so I called the 24 hour number--on Easter Sunday--and was gently reminded the next day was a bank holiday. The woman instantly refunded my delivery charge,and set up for free delivery for the Tuesday. I considered making the order Deluxe but we couldn’t easily do that. Since it wasn’t deluxe, I was surprised to hear my friend talk about how large and abundant the bouquet was. She emailed me:


“My lovely beautiful flowers just arrived!!! Gorgeous lilies roses and carnations and ALL PINK!!!! So beautiful :-D thank you so much!!!! So so special and so so pretty!!“

She also told me on the phone how beautifully perfumed they are, and how many of them there were.


35 GBP for flowers is of course a lot of money, but especially as I am in New York, and my friend in London was so happy with the flowers, it was actually an excellent value.

UPDATE One week later, she emailed me:
My flowers are BEAUTIFUL!!!! The lilies have gone now :-( but the roses and carnations and other pretty pink flowers are still going strong! The roses are HUGE!!!!!! I have filled FOUR VASES!!!

All in all, a good experience, except for the website not running too smoothly.

Service rating : I used your service for the first time to send my Mum some lovely flowers for Easter.

As I live in Watford Hertfordshire and she is in Morden it is difficult for me to see her as often as I would like, my job demands very long unsociable hours and I feel time and time again the distance between us.

I have used other well known and not so well known florists in the past but just felt the need to contact you to say a very big "THANK YOU" not only did you deliver the next day (I ordered the flowers on Sunday), you also text me when the delivery went out and text me again when the flowers had been delivered. You also followed my instructions too, my Mum is very deaf and I asked to make sure the flowers were not left on the doorstep.

My Mum was extremely pleased with her bouquet which in turn pleases me.

Thank you again and I can assure you I will be using your service again and won’t hesitate to recommend you too.

Service rating : Have sent two orders with the first, for Mothers Day 18th March, received a confirmation email within minutes. The second order, for funeral flowers for my neice, came no email. I called the service nr, which after hanging on for ca 15 minutes got contact with a pleasant sounding man. Still no email though. Confirmation per email would have sttled my slight concern that the order was not so certain.
Product : Living in Germany I was unable to see the flowers; but several people expressed their praise of the arrangement. Thank you.

Service rating : Unfortunately I had a bad experience, in that I ordered flowers for delivery the next day, and by 5pm they had not arrived, so I phoned and was told the driver had until 6pm to deliver them. 6pm arrived and the flowers didn’t, so at 7:30pm I rang again to be told that they had until 9pm to deliver them. I’m sorry, but I don’t feel delivering that late to someone who is ill, and lives on their own, and therefore vulnerable is acceptable. I asked to speak to a manager, who luckily was helpful, and said that I wanted to cancel the order if he couldn’t tell me what time the door would be knocking with the flowers. He said he’d look into it and ring me back, which he did, and it just so happened the flowers had been delivered in between me speaking to him, and him chasing it up. This isn’t an experience that I would repeat, and I would appreciate some compensation for the inconvenience and bad service received. It has certainly made me think twice about using someone other than a reputable florists in future! I’m very sorry to provide negative feedback, but you can’t improve if you don’t know what the problems are.

Service rating : I ordered and paid for the flowers online however once I had placed and paid for my order I realised I had paid for 2 bouquets which I had been comparing. I then phoned the helpline number and spoke to one of your assistants, who was very helpful. She refunded my card, and took payment for the one bouquet - Space Cadet. She confirmed payment had been made. The flowers were for my brother and his family as they were having their dog put to sleep on Monday, so I wanted the flowers delivered that day. When I spoke to my brother on Monday night, he did not mention the flowers, so I went into my emails to track the order and found they had not been delivered as they were marked as ’Payment not recieved’. When I phoned to ask why this was, I was advised it was an admin error as the payment was processed manually, and therefore hadn’t been set as paid on the order. The lady I spoke to was apologetic and offered to upgrade the flowers to the ’deluxe’ version. My problem was that they were then going to arrive a day late. I agreed to go ahead as I still wanted to send flowers, however was disappointed that they had not been sent on the day intended.
I appreciate that these things do happen, however given the opportunity to give you feedback, feel that this is something I should let you know. Had this not happened, I would of rated this as good - possibly excellent as the ladies that I spoke to on both occassions were very helpful. If you order flowers, it is usually sent for a timely reason - birthday, anniversary - a special dates etc. You had all my contact details so if payment had not been recieved, why didnt someone from your office call me to find out more, rather than leaving me guessing and having to track my order, only to find that an admin error has prevented my order from being delivered on the day intended.
