Service rating : I ordered some flowers as a birthday gift for my mother.
I received notification they were out for delivery and some time late received notification they had been delivered "Left in front garden in a secure area" was the status. Knowing my mother’s garden does not have the ability for parcels etc being left unattended in her front garden I was slightly concerned.
I managed to contact my mother that evening who thanked me for the flowers but said she was left a little disappointed. I asked if they were delivered to her direct or left in the garden to which she (thankfully) told me that they were given to her directly. However, the packaging / box was crushed, there was not enough water in the flowers (and she’s a bit of an expert in all things plants and gardens), the carnations were not fresh, in her words, "Practically dead".
If Serenata are to compete with Interflora, they’re going to have to "up their game". Not happy with this at all.

Packaging was open and looked as if it had been trampled on, the flowers inside squashed and overall in a sorry state. Would have got a better quality bouquet at one of the major supermarkets for cheaper. Also had problems with delivery - saying access could not be gained at a school with open gates & a bustling reception.

Product : The lady who received the flowers rang me to describe what she had received, she said her house was dark (she is having a new roof put on), the weather was overcast and miserable and when she opened the packaging, the flowers lit up the room they were so beautiful. I would say that was excellent service wouldn’t you. There are also 3 buildings with the name The Old School House in that area so to find it first time was also extremely good.

Service rating : I have put this at excelent, because the flowers were lovely, but the plastic box was split and the water had run into all the packaging, so they had to be removed imidiatly and put in a vase which was disapointing.

Video showed flowers packed in single vials. Delivery was bunched in soaked paper. 2 Care pamphlet referred to using the enclosed plant food. Delivery had no plant food.3 Care pamphlet instructions said to remove all packaging. Customer services then told me that the soaked paper contained the plant food - but, of course, I was expecting separate food and had thrown the paper away as ’packaging’. 4 Customer services only replied to part of my enquiry. In conclusion: A disappointingly disjointed process between the information video and the delivery.

Excellent company let down by delivery service, flower had broken off stem in transit or when being abandoned on my kitchen floor.
My delivery instructions did say leave more time. To much pressure on delivery staff? Should the packaging say fragile? Should the chocolates ordered be more secure and not rattling around?

I was horrified to be sent a picture of my ’gift’ and a description of how the flowers had been transported and delivered. The flowers arrived loose in a box with no packaging apart from 3 paper hand towels around the end of the stem. The flowers stems were limited and nothing like the web site picture. The flowers were wilted. Brown and damaged. The recipient contacted Serenta Flowers to express her dissapointment but got no reply. I spent endless time using their difficult communication tool which would not let me attach a photo of the flowers. Eventually I sent an independant email with photo attached. The response I then received asked if I would like them to deliver the flowers again or refund my money. I could think of much greater Customer Service placatory options! But they obviously could not. I would not recommend this organisation to anyone. Save yourself the insult and embarrassment. Who would want to receive a bunch of dead flowers as a gift ?

Service rating : I requested the ’Twilight - Deluxe’ flowers for an extremely sad occasion. In short the wrong flowers were sent to the wrong address, so that a neighbour eventually found them on her doorstep and passed them onto me- essentially missing the period to give the flowers. The box was rain-sodden and the flowers were partly damaged, the card was stuck to the wet-mush packaging. I raised all this to the Serenata Flowers customer care department who requested the delivery address and photos as proof. Even after sending this I was only offered a 50% refund- or the correct bunch re-sending- both totally inappropriate responses for this occasion and failed delivery service. Their head of Customer Care took over the matter and sent a full refund. SerenataFlowers,com failed a simple order and won’t be used again.

I was emailed and told that they had been unable to deliver them. I realised that instead of just the number of the flat I should have actually typed FLAT 41. The next day I was emailed to say that the flowers were being chauffeured - this was to a private estate and the lady to whom the flowers were to be delivered was well-known. I was later emailed and told that they had been unable to deliver them. We went away on holiday and on our return the lady to whom I had tried to send the flowers called to say that they had been delivered the following Tuesday at 7pm by which time they were obviously dead. She is adamant that she was in all day Friday and Saturday, and that her door bell was not rung. The packaging when delivered showed the delivery instruction ’recipient not at home, please leave securely on premises or with neighbour. Please leave card’. These instructions were not followed. Refund is required.

I immediately gave them fresh water but they have been thrown away already as all the petals dropped and I had them for less than a week. I think they are incredibly expensive and not good quality. The ones I received were dull, the colours not coordinating at all and I guess they sent them through this offer also. I then saw the ones you sent from me and they were dull, dull dull, I know the lilies have not come out but the overall effect was depressing. Yes I chose the cheapest option but will never order again. I think you waste too much money on the packaging also, it was a massive box for small bunch, put more in to the flowers please, two very unattractive bunches. Sorry to have to complain, but for the price I think you should do better.
