Flowers for a Colleague
A colleague is a person that works or studies with you however, the term is associated with a coworker the majority of the time. A colleague spends hours with you every day often helping you whenever and wherever he/she can and hence deserve your admiration and respect. It is important to let them know, whenever possible, that they have made an impact in your life.
The number of colleagues may far exceed the number of friends that you may have had in school – but in a better way. You may be the most popular person at work with many adoring colleagues. However, it is crucial to feel or at least let them know that you feel the same about them.
You may have deep-rooted problems with a particular colleague or have recently had a fight with him/her. Perhaps now is the right time to let them know that you care about him/her and want to fix your work relation.
Buying some flowers for a colleague is a great way to let him/her know that you care about them and thank them for being there for you. Of course, it may feel weird sometimes and there are certain rules in place but the gesture is generally perceived as appropriate.
Your colleague may be your best friend, counselor, family friend or perhaps your mentor. Your colleague may just be another very helpful colleague. Regardless of what your colleague means to you, it is of the utmost importance that you let him or her know how much you enjoy working with them.
