Spraying fresh flowers
Many people across the United Kingdom buy flowers in order to bring a spot of much-needed colour to the home. However, it is not uncommon to see these flowers begin to wilt just a couple of days after they were originally purchased.
It is possible to prevent fresh flowers from wilting - at least for a few days - simply by spraying them with hair spray. So with this in mind weve produced a simple guide, detailing how you can go about spraying your flowers to keep them fresher for longer:
Step 1 - Take a few sheets of newspaper and cover the space you intend to work in.
Step 2 - Place the flowers down on the newspaper.
Step 3 - Pick up one flower at a time, then take a can of hair spray and position it 12 inches away from the flower.
Step 4 - Point the hair spray at the flowers leaves and petals and spray - ensuring that you only spray a small amount of hair spray on to each petal.
Step 5 - Put the flower down on the newspaper, then allow to dry.
