Pink tulips in giftbag
Like a sweetshop package of enchanted candies, this cellophane wrap of rosewater pink tulip buds dusted in sugary winter sunshine promises to take all who fall under its spell on a magic carpet ride to a world in which good cheer and amusement are inescapable.
Flowers are lovely and recipient very happy. Was surprised that a message could only be added with an additional £2.99 charge. An email was received later in the evening approx 9.45pm asking me to contact the person to tell them who the flowers were from. I didn’t want a card but a brief note e.g get well soon, love from.etc.. To not be added was a surprise. This would have not caused the confusion it did. The recipient couldn’t tell me she received them as I didn’t tell her I was sending them. I was left unsure whether they had been delivered until the email arrived. A flower card would have been a good option in this case, when a standard card not required at an additional cost. If a card costs an addition amount, and I was aware that the recipient would know who they were from I would have been inclined to order a different item / less expensive to take into account the card cost as well. Maybe the website could make this a little clearer. Many thanks for the delivery. My friend had a hysterectomy and once she knew the flowers were from a girly friend, we laughed. She was pleased not to have a secret admirer in view of recent events!! Hope the feedback helps :-)
Service rating : apart from delivery instructions being ignored pleased with goods and will use again. Product : I am told that the tulips are outstanding by the person they were sent to however I did add a note for the flowers to be left at my address [next door] in the event that Mrs Basham was not at home which did not happen and the parcel remained outside 52 until late in the evening
There were problems with communication. I asked for delivery on the Tuesday and it was delivered Monday morning - luckily someone was there. Also some confusion over the ordering process with an email to say that the order hadn’t gone through when it had. So not perfect. But the flowers I’m told were beautiful.

Amazing follow up even at 10pm in the evening when the colour of tulips I had originally requested wasn’t in stock for next day delivery. I was kept politely up to date on the order status right up until they had arrived at their destination. I will definitely use them again.

Service rating : Kept me informed of order Product : The recipient sent a photo of the very poor looking small bunch of tulips that I could have bought in Tesco for less than £5.00. What a disappointment, will never use Serentata again.
