It was lovely to receive a text early in the morning of the flowers delivery date to say they were 'in the delivery van and on the way to the recipient', however as they did not actually get delivered until early evening, I was not so happy. The time of the delivery was not the issue, it was the amount of time fresh flowers would therefore have been sitting in the back of a warm van, being jostled around and possibly damaged, that was the issue. The recipient did not know any different, and the flowers were in reasonably good condition, however I can't help feeling they were possibly not at their best. not sure I will use Serenata again if this is the norm - if I use local florist deliveries instead, I do not think I would have the same worries.
The only reason I dropped a star was because some of the flower arrangements I liked were not available, so the choice was limited. As Mother's Day was fast approaching, I would have expected the company to have anticipated the increase in demand for the more reasonably priced flower arrangements. The pictures of the rest looked lovely, making the final choice easier, although it was more expensive. My mother received the flowers the next day and said they were beautiful. So all went smoothly. I would use SerenataFlowers again.
My only criticism would be that the chirpy happy jokey nature of the service possibly not appropriate for sympathy orders... I was a little shocked the emails weren't a little more refined for particular occasions.
If I'd been ordering Birthday or happy occasion I think it's brilliant!
The only negative I have is that no card was included in my last two orders and the recipient did not know who the flowers were from. I have only recently discovered this as the latest recipient did not acknowledge flowers and I had to ask did they arrive safely.
Good service, slight misunderstanding but that was my fault and was quickly responded to. Friendly service and my mum enjoyed the bouquet.
I would have preferred the bouquet to be a bit fuller considering what I paid.
Kept me informed about delivery and apologised when expected delivery date could not be kept due to volume of deliveries being Mothers Day weekend.
Really pleased specially the way I was kept up to date with delivery and when eventual delivery had occurred
Skelmersdale is situated in a small valley on River Tawd. If the name is a bit tough for you to remember, then you can just call it by its local nickname ‘Skem’. The town was made to accommodate both plant life and compact houses. Despite all the years of development, there is a large portion of forestation in the town center. It may surprise you to know that there are no traffic lights in the town and unless you’re someone who is accustomed to the road system of this place, you’re very likely to get lost. Even with a large number of housing estates, Skelmersdale's industrial strength lies in names like Co-operative Bank, the distribution centers for Asda, P&G, and Walkers snack food factory.
If it so happens that you have a loved one living in this town, and want to send them some flowers, then you need not worry. Even if you live far away, you can get flowers delivered in Skelmersdale through SerenataFlowers.com. This is because, in this age of Internet, most purchases are made online, and the same goes for flowers. Instead of having to search for reliable florists in Skelmersdale who would do the job for you, you just have to pay us a virtual visit.
