The service received has been inconsistent but it has been good overall. The first time I received flowers they were absolutely beautiful and the lilies flowered and lasted over two weeks. The second bunch I ordered as a gift for my mum's birthday, they came with roses browning at the edges, and three lilies which had had their pollen stems cut off! I did get in touch with customer services and they assured me that the bouquets go through 5 quality checks (which I found very surprising, especially considering no-one noticed the cut stems on all three lilies in the bunch) but they were very understanding as we had a family emergency which meant my mum wasn't around to 'enjoy' the bunch anyway, so they kindly rearranged delivery. This bunch arrived on time and with lots of lilies, some unopened which was lovely but there was a lot of greenery and not much by way of flowers and some fresia looked old and again some roses were browning, so the bunch did not last longer than a week, sadly.
I ordered these flowers to be delivered as a surprise to a friend who's house I had never been to. In the order process I was asked what they should do if no-one was in - as I didn't know the house i selected that they should leave them round the back. After they were delivered I heard nothing from my friend. I called her the next day to see if she had had a delivery & she said no so I had to tell her to look round the back of the house where she found them - this obviously took the element of surprise out of it. It would have been useful if the florist had put a note through the door to say there had been a delivery and to say where they had left them.
The delivery instructions looked like it was a mandatory field to fill in. I would expect the flowers to be delivered as normal (ie. ring the bell, wait for someone to answer). It was good to be able to give alternative instructions in case people were out, but I didn't expect the flowers to be left on the doorstep without the bell being rung when people were actually home.
Website was relatively easy to use, even on a mobile phone. Had a few issues with the default address being US, and not being able to easily amend an error on the billing address. But they were pretty minor and I was able to overcome them. Flowers arrived very promptly the next day.
"Did what it said on the tin".... when I needed to order from abroad, last minute at the weekend and there were very few options (I think I paid a premium but I was asking for premium service)
Good communication, on day of delivery, although couldn't get through to the number for customer services, it was not recognised,
Very quick delivery, ordered in the evening and the next morning flowers have been delivered.
Only the personal card in the parcel was hard to find as it was included with adverts.
