Have you received a bouquet of vibrant gerbera flowers? Lucky you! Now play a good host to your new friends by following our care tips listed here. Cut your gerbera stems at an 45 degree angle under running water with sharp knife. Place them into a vase with room temperature water and add flower food. Leaves should all be above waterline of the vase. Change the water every few days. Cut the gerbera stems every few days to keep them looking fresh. Keep your flowers away from fruits and drafty places. If you're worried about breaking the gentle stems, you can use a bit of florist wire to keep your gerberas looking nice and straight. Play the perfect host by changing the water and adding more plant food every three days or so. Feel free to talk to your flowers, but be careful not to cause unease to other guests who may be visiting.
