One Direction send sympathy flowers to family of murdered teenager

Boy band One Direction have sent a bouquet of flowers and a card expressing their sympathies to the family of murdered teenager, Casey Kearney, according to an article published by Entertainmentwise.

Thirteen year-old Casey was stabbed to death in a park in her hometown of Doncasterby Hannah Bonser, a psychiatric patient, on Valentines Day (February 14).

Bonser, 26, was given a life sentence on Wednesday (July 11).

One Directions Louis Tomlinson, 20, grew up in the same town. He along with fellow band mates Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles reached out to the teenagers family with a personal message in a card.

The card read (sic): "Thinking of all Caseys family at this sad time. With Love, Louis (Doncaster boy) and all of One Direction, Harry, Liam, Niall and Zayn."

Caseys mother, Kerry Day, spoke highly of the lads kindness, telling The Sun:"It was amazing they took the trouble to send a card. It was a real kindness."
