Service rating : Excellent company. Website very easy to use and excellent bouquet selections/descriptions. Prices are fair and always great offers/discounts available which make prices actually paid GREAT (even during peak seasons ie valentines, mothers day etc) I’ve used Serenata on 3 occasions now and have received 2 bouquets myself and I’ve been more than happy with what I’ve received, as were my recipients. Bouquets do get delivered in a box which I actually prefer as they’ve been protected rather than getting "bashed" in a deliver van. Never been disappointed yet. Keep up the good work Seranata! Thank you. :)
Product : Flowers arrived in box and all closed up. Still very pretty but unusual as most bouquets purchased flowers are generally open and already blooming. However, after carefully following the enclosed care instructions: 2 days later- A gorgeous big blooming bouquet appeared. Flowers were very healthy, colourful and a week on, still thriving. Not a dead flower/leaf in sight. This was the first time I’d upgraded to deluxe and it’s very much worth it. Beautiful bouquet, lilies are gorgeous (and I’m usually not a fan). My favourite bouquet now (previously Twilight). Thank you Seranata.
Service rating : I wanted to send some nice flowers to my sister - something nice, a bit different, and no lilies (she has a cat - and lilies are toxic to cats, especially the pollen). I’ve used Serenata before, so I knew the service would be efficient and the flowers would be up to scratch. I had a quick look through their website - the filters make it easy to find the flowers you want to send for the price you want to pay. I picked some really funky blue orchids (Blue Dendrobium). Selecting and paying is easy with no hidden charges (and next day delivery is included in the price of the flowers).
Once I’d placed the order, I received sufficient emails to update me on its progress. A couple of hours after they’d been delivered, my sister sent me an email to say thanks with a photo of the flowers she’d received - they looked really great, as good or better than the website photo.
I’ve used one or two other internet flower sellers in the past, and there are some really bad ones out there who don’t know their iris from their elbow!
Serenata are in a different league - they’re really good.
Product : Really nice flowers - thanks.
The service received has been inconsistent but it has been good overall. The first time I received flowers they were absolutely beautiful and the lilies flowered and lasted over two weeks. The second bunch I ordered as a gift for my mum's birthday, they came with roses browning at the edges, and three lilies which had had their pollen stems cut off! I did get in touch with customer services and they assured me that the bouquets go through 5 quality checks (which I found very surprising, especially considering no-one noticed the cut stems on all three lilies in the bunch) but they were very understanding as we had a family emergency which meant my mum wasn't around to 'enjoy' the bunch anyway, so they kindly rearranged delivery. This bunch arrived on time and with lots of lilies, some unopened which was lovely but there was a lot of greenery and not much by way of flowers and some fresia looked old and again some roses were browning, so the bunch did not last longer than a week, sadly.
Service rating : Good telephone come back when I didn’t get the offer price although I put in the code. Think their marketing is excellent but won’t use again as flowers were not worth it.
Product : I received a bouquet of flowers from Serenata from friends just as I had ordered a bouquet for one of my friends. I ordered a bouquet on offer which was I think called oriental breeze. The ones I received were dull, the colours not coordinating at all and I guess they sent them through this offer also. I then saw the ones you sent from me and they were dull, dull dull, I know the lilies have not come out but the overall effect was depressing. Yes I chose the cheapest option but will never order again. I think you waste too much money on the packaging also, it was a massive box for small bunch, put more in to the flowers please, two very unattractive bunches. Sorry to have to complain, but for the price I think you should do better.
Service rating : I have used serenata many times , seems to be a good service .
Product : Very disappointed as I had paid extra £5 fir deluxe version but when my cousin sent me the photo of the flowers she received I was embarrassed as they didn’t look ’deluxe’ or resemble much of the picture depicted when ordering , disappointed that none of the lilies were even open, expected a few to be open when delivers for the wow effect . Will think again before I order . I have the photo still .
Service rating : Excellent service. Quick immediate delivery the next morning after an evening order... updates on how the delivery was going... also reply to online question replied to promptly. VEry good service for £19 with no delivery charge!
Product : Absolutely wonderful! My daughter sent me a picture of the flowers when they arrived and then another one when the lilies opened. She said she had never seen such big flowers... and they smelled wonderful! her favorites!
I will DEFINITELY USE this company again
Service rating : Great site, good service and customer notifications. Delivered on time.
Product : Very hard to rate flowers that you never see....it’s hard to push the recipient for feedback and they are hardly likely to tell you they’re awful seeing as you just made the effort to send them! However, the recipient of this bouquet said the pink carnations and roses were lovely. No mention of the lilies which I would have thought would be strikingly obvious...so I’m rather concerned the bouquet was not what was in the picture - but I have no way of knowing. Good service though.
Lily or lilies are known as Lilium, a flowering plant which grows from bulbs with large impressive flowers. Not all flowers that are referred to as lilies actually belong to this category and are true lilies. Lilies can growth to a length between 60 and 180 cm. The bulbs from which they grow can have various forms – for example they can be naked (or tunicless), rhizomes with number of small bulbs or stolons. Lilies come in various colours, for example white, yellow, pink, red, orange, traditional white and even purple (resembling almost black). As with orchids, lilies also have their unique marks which are in form of spots or brush strokes. If you want lilies in your garden, keep in mind they flower in spring or late summer. The species of lilies can be divided into six sections, according to plant taxonomy: Daurolirion, Leucorilion, Sinomartagon, Archelirion, Liriotypus, Pseudolirium, Martagon.
How do you take care of your lilies? If you're using them as cut flowers in display, it's pretty simple. Make sure you start with a clean vase, take your lilies and cut about 3cm from the bottom at a 45 degree angle. This ensures that the area of the plant exposed to the water is larges, so it can take in a lot more water. Cut with clean scissors. Place the lilies in vase, add fresh water and flower food. Keep them away from draft and too hot places in your home. Replace the water every couple of day to extend the lifespan of lilies. That's just few of the florist tricks to extend the life of your flowers.

The lily flower, which comes in a wide variety of shapes and hues, is enjoyed by many for both its beauty and fragrance. So we thought we'd discover a little bit more about the symbol of purity and simplicity, whose popularity spans the world. Fact number One - Coloured lilies, despite their appearance, are not fragranced, whilst white lilies are scented. The one exception is the Tiger Lily, which is renowned for its sweet scent. Fact number two - Certain countries grow lilies for their bulbs and not their flowers. The edible bulb is enjoyed as a delicacy in some parts of the world. Fact number Three - Lilies symbolise different meanings in different parts of the world. For example, Tiger Lilies are associated with wealth, whilst white lilies symbolise purity and the Lily of the Valley, sweetness. Fact number Four - Lilies are celebrated for their lengthy vase life. Removing the pollen found in the flower can extend this even further. Fact number Five - This particular specie of plant is often used in medicine to treat various ailments, including anxiety and depression. In other parts of the world, it's used to treat a number of different illnesses and can also be used to heal dry skin. The moisturising properties work well as a facial cream, massage oil, hot oil treatment and as an under eye lotion. Fact number Six - Although the innocent-looking lily is harmless to humans, it's extremely toxic to cats. If you have pet cats, you should avoid planting this style of plant in your garden and displaying it in your home. Fact number Seven - Lilies are often used as centerpieces at dinner parties and prestigious events; this is down to their popularity. Despite their exotic experience, white lilies are in abundance and easy to come by. All in all, there are an astounding 100 genuses in the liliaceae family. Fact number Eight - Lilies signify innocence and in Victorian times, they were nicknamed 'majesty' due to their association with the Virgin Mary and their angelic shape. People of this era would often use lilies as embellishments for evening gowns or in their hair, whilst models would use them as props in photo shoots. Fact number Nine - Lilies are happiest when grouped together and create extremely impressive displays when grown alongside one and other. Fact number Ten - The Egyptians enjoyed this pretty floral specie greatly and were amongst the first people to use the flower in cosmetics. Lily extract was added to both ointments and scented oils. Today it is still a popular ingredient in many perfumes.
